3-Second Hook
Three seconds to stop the scroll, then the problem, then the save-this line. The shape every thread post uses.
21 templates ship with ProCut. Each one is a real timeline — slot durations, transitions and text beats already laid out — so you drop clips in and the rhythm is done. Every one of them stays fully editable afterwards: a template is a starting point, not a locked frame.
01
Three seconds to stop the scroll, then the problem, then the save-this line. The shape every thread post uses.
02
Five equal steps that slide past like a carousel, then a beat to say save this. Tutorials in one take.
03
Three slots, big type, no rush. For the line you want people to screenshot.
04
Eight short slots cut on the beat — enough for a whole trip without a single clip outstaying its welcome.
05
Three slides chained into one long pan, then two wide slots to land on. Distance, not itinerary.
06
Five slow slots built for close-ups, with the dish name and the address where people expect them.
07
One number, one deadline, one call to action. Hard cuts, no dissolves — a sale post should feel urgent.
08
Build-up, reveal, call to action — the shape of every unboxing, minus the waffle.
09
Eight seconds to say who you are. Short enough for a profile pin, long enough to say something.
10
Seven slots, thirteen seconds: room, room, room, then the numbers and the booking line.
11
Ten slots with room to breathe and a Ken Burns drift, so stills carry the whole piece.
12
Eight stills dissolving one into the next — a month per slot, built for photos rather than video.
13
Six fast slots then two long ones: chaos, then the shot that makes it worth it.
14
Twelve stills, one per month, at a pace that stays readable to the very last frame.
15
Twelve slots at a steady beat. Drop clips in and the cut lands on the beat whether or not you can hear it.
16
A three-two-one countdown into the moment the candles go out. Gold type, on purpose.
17
Five long slots and slow fades — the one template here that is not in a hurry.
18
How you met, every day since, and the line you would say again. Six slots, no captions needed.
19
Week one against week twelve, cut hard so the difference does the talking.
20
21
Two slots at half speed inside four at full speed — the replay is built into the template.
The order above is our editorial pick, not a usage chart. ProCut does not send which template you opened to any server — see the privacy policy — so there is no ranking for us to publish. All 141 slots across the 21 are laid out in the feature list.
Every Open in ProCut button points at
https://procut.filmode.app/t/<template>. On a phone with ProCut installed, Android
App Links and Apple Universal Links hand that address straight to the app and it
opens on that template. On a phone without it, you land on a page with the two
store links. On a desktop browser, the same page tells you where the app runs.
No redirect chain, no tracking parameters, no interstitial ad.
All 21 templates are compiled into the app. Opening one works on a plane, on 2G, or with the app blocked from the network entirely.
The timing lives in the shared kernel and is locked by golden tests, so a template exports frame-identical on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows.
The 21 templates ship without bundled music on purpose. Add your own track and the beat markers still line up.
