Everything ProCut does, spelled out.
Nine groups, no marketing filler. Every line below is a feature that ships in version 1.0 and is covered by tests that export real files on real hardware. Items marked ★ need Pro; items marked ◌ are on the roadmap and are listed so you can see where the gaps are.
A multi-track timeline that behaves.
The same magnetic main track and free overlay lanes you would expect from a desktop NLE, driven by touch instead of a mouse.
- Unlimited lanes Video, audio, text and overlay tracks stacked as deep as the project needs.
- Magnetic main track Delete a clip and the rest closes the gap; hold to lift a clip out instead.
- Pinch zoom From whole-project overview down to single-frame precision in one gesture.
- Snapping with haptics Edges snap to the playhead, clip boundaries and markers, with a tick you can feel.
- Thumbnail strips Frames rendered along each video clip so you can find a cut point by eye.
- Live audio waveforms Drawn from the decoded track, not a placeholder shape.
- Frame-grid alignment Gaps and cuts are snapped onto the project frame grid, so nothing drifts by a half-frame.
- Unlimited undo and redo Every edit goes through one history stack shared by all five platforms.
Frame-accurate, not roughly-accurate.
Cut points are stored as frame numbers against the project rate, so what you trim is what the exporter writes.
- Split Cut at the playhead, on any lane, with the result staying selected.
- Trim Drag either edge; the preview scrubs live while you drag.
- Ripple delete Remove a clip and pull everything after it back.
- Roll, slip and slide Adjust a cut without changing the total duration.
- Duplicate Copy a clip with all its effects, speed and keyframes intact.
- Reorder Drag clips along a lane or across lanes.
- Crop and transform Position, scale and rotate per clip, with a rule-of-thirds guide.
- Canvas ratios 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 4:3, switchable at any time without re-importing.
Ramps, reverse and freeze.
Speed is a curve, not a single number. The audio engine follows the same curve so sound never slides out from under the picture.
- Constant speed 0.25×–4× Applied per clip, with the new duration reflected in the timeline immediately.
- Bezier speed curves Ramp into slow motion and back out, with control points you place yourself.
- Presets Montage, hero moment, bullet time and jump-cut ramps as starting points.
- Freeze frame Hold any frame for a chosen duration; the hold is a real segment you can trim.
- Reverse Play a clip backwards, audio included.
- Pitch lock On by default — slow motion does not sound drunk and fast motion does not sound like a chipmunk.
Real overlap, rendered on the GPU.
A ProCut transition consumes time from both clips, exactly like a desktop editor. That is why the timeline gets shorter when you add one.
- Dissolve True cross-fade between two decoded streams, not an opacity fade over black.
- Fade to black / white Through a solid colour, with independent in and out lengths.
- Slide Four directions, with the outgoing clip still playing as it leaves.
- Zoom Push in or pull out across the cut.
- Wipe Hard-edge or soft-edge, four directions.
- Blur swap Both sides blur into each other — the one that hides a mismatched cut.
- Audio rides along Every visual transition gets a matching audio cross-fade automatically.
- Adjustable duration Drag the transition handle; the engine re-plans the overlap and re-aligns to the frame grid.
Animate anything, keep it through a cut.
Keyframes live on the clip, in clip-local time. Split a clip and both halves keep the right part of the animation instead of resetting.
- Animatable properties Position, scale, rotation, opacity and volume.
- Easing per keyframe Linear, ease-in, ease-out and ease-in-out.
- Split-safe Cutting a keyframed clip re-times both halves instead of dropping the animation.
- Copy animation Paste a whole keyframe track onto another clip.
- Ken Burns A two-keyframe scale-and-pan preset for stills, applied in one tap.
- Graph editor Curve-level editing of each property is on the roadmap.
The same title on every screen.
Type size is measured against the project frame rather than the screen, so a title looks identical on a 720p draft, a 4K export and every platform.
- Frame-relative sizing One shared reference between Android, iOS and Windows — verified by golden tests.
- Styling Colour, alignment, letter spacing, line height, outline, shadow and background plate.
- Positioning Drag on the canvas, or snap to nine anchor points.
- Duration Titles are clips on their own lane — trim, split and keyframe them like anything else.
- Premium fonts Extra families and styles with a Pro subscription.
- Animated presets Typewriter, pop and slide-in title animations are on the roadmap.
Sound you can actually mix.
Audio is a first-class lane, not an afterthought bolted to the video track.
- Music and voiceover lanes As many as you need, each independently trimmed.
- Per-clip volume Static, or keyframed over time.
- Fade in and out Handles on each clip edge.
- Automatic cross-fades Applied wherever a visual transition sits.
- Extract audio Detach a video clip's sound onto its own lane.
- Mute and solo Per lane, for checking a mix.
- Premium music library Licensed tracks included with Pro.
- Auto-ducking and silence removal On the roadmap, running on-device and free.
Hardware encoding, clean file.
Preview and export run through the same compositor, so the file matches what you watched. No watermark on any plan.
- H.264 MP4 up to 4K Through your device's own hardware encoder.
- Frame rates 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 fps, capped by what the chip supports.
- Bitrate control Low, medium, high or a number you type.
- Proxy editing Imports build a 960p proxy for smooth scrubbing; export always reads the original.
- Progress and cancel Real progress from the encoder, and a cancel that actually stops the job.
- No watermark, ever Including on the free plan. There is no "remove watermark" upgrade.
Five native apps, one project format.
No shared UI framework and no web view. Each app is written against its own platform's media stack and checked against the same golden numbers.
- Android Kotlin with AndroidX media3, from Android 7.0 (API 24) up.
- iPhone and iPad Swift with AVFoundation, from iOS / iPadOS 15.
- Mac Swift via Mac Catalyst, from macOS 12 Monterey.
- Windows C# with WinUI 3 and Media Foundation — core done, interface in development.
- One project file The same schema on every platform; copy a project between devices and it opens.
- Golden-frame tests Each engine is checked frame-by-frame against shared reference output.
- Works offline Put the device in airplane mode and every editing feature still works.
- No account Install, edit, export. Nothing to sign up for.
What the money actually buys.
The editor is free. Pro pays for licensed content and for cloud generation that burns real GPU time on a server somewhere.

Every AI feature runs on your own device, so it is free on every tier with no usage limit — we sell no credits and there is no server doing the work. Pro sells exactly two things: the eight Pro colour looks and an app with no ads. Prices shown are the US list price; the App Store and Google Play set the local equivalent, and the full breakdown is in the pricing section.
